Living the "employee" life
People are employed for a reason, it's either they need to work 8 hours a day to get by or they're too good that companies are trying to get their attention and try to pay them higher than what their current employer has offered them. But either way, employees try so hard to be a part of an organization that has assured their future.
Let me tell you something about being an employee, it can be as crazy as the circus. You always talk to people, like your clients and try to please them even when you completely disagree with what you're being told to do. It takes a lot of self control and professionalism to get through a conversation where people don't completely agree with one another. You know that the answer isn't about arguing so you find a solution that will satisfy both sides. And it really is stressful to handle all that pressure.
Sometimes employees go ballistic but you won't notice it, the only one who knows it is the computer or the phone, they rant in front of it while sending a business related message or something like that. They're that good in controlling their emotions.
Other days, the workflow actually favors them and they're completely able to get back in action while doing the usual everyday office routine. They have the time to actually take care of themselves while doing work. But days like that are so rare.
You see, everything doesn't come easy. You really have to get into it and sort everything out. But never forget to treat yourself, go shopping or go on a vacation. We all deserve it, because we all worked really hard for it.
Stay optimistic and love what you're doing. With that kind of attitude everything will be easier.
